Just for the sake of it, I thought I’d try out the Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning demo on my laptop, it was a bit of a long shot, mainly due to graphical limitations as you’re recommended to use a card with 512 MB of RAM, I only have 256 MB of dedicated RAM and so, as you can imagine, there were problems.
There was a bit of buzz on the internet about playing one game to get bonuses in another if you played the demo, it seemed, to me, like a ruse just to get people to play the demo of a game nobody had really heard about and to give it a bit of hype. It turns out that, although Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning isn’t exactly ground-breakingly brilliant, it does have a certain charm.
